Statsraad Lehmkuhl Oceanics 1972-73

After Oceanics I returned to Edina, Minnesota to finish high school.  I married Jim Jones (#44) in 1976. We moved to rural Wisconsin near Elmwood and built a log home on 40 acres.  Our daughter Adrienne was born at home In 1979 .  Soon after, we moved to northern Wisconsin in the Glidden area and built another log home on 40 wooded acres.  Jim moved to California in 1986 and we divorced.

I graduated from Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin in 1990 with a B.A. in Accounting.  I was the Financial Manager for Glidden Schools from 1992-2007.  I earned my Master’s degree in School Business Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2007.  I moved to the Madison, Wisconsin area to be closer to Adrienne and family and I retired from the Poynette Area School District in 2015.

I live in Oregon, Wisconsin which is just south of Madison.  I love retirement!  I live 10 minutes from Adrienne.  Adrienne is a Physician Assistant in thoracic and cardiology surgery in Janesville, Wisconsin.  I have two grandchildren.  Anthony is 19 and a freshman at St. Norbert’s College in De Pere, Wisconsin.  He plays soccer and is a business major.  Ashlynn is 16 and a sophomore at Oregon High School.  She loves theater, choir and horses.

I love to travel and recently visited Scotland and Iceland.  My hobbies include hiking, kayaking, canoeing, snowshoeing, gardening, cooking, baking, reading and quilting.  I still own my log home in northern Wisconsin and love the screen porch!
