April 15, 2023 – The Statsraad Lehmkuhl returned to Bergen, Norway after 20 months circumnavigating the world. Here are edited highlights of the return including the flotilla escorting the ship into the harbor, sea shanties from the rigging, a visit from King Harald V and other festivities.

April 15, 2023 – The Statsraad Lehmkuhl concluded its 20-month circumnavigation on the morning of April 15, 2023. Here is a video of the live stream of the ship’s arrival in Bergen that began with the flotilla sailing into the harbor through the celebration and speakers.

Brooklyn Eagle – December 2021 December 2021 – The Brooklyn Eagle did a story about the Statsraad Lehmkuhl when it came to Brooklyn in December 2021. As part of the One Ocean Expedition, there was an issue with COVID so no visitors were allowed on board.

1973 – This is the documentary hosted by actor David Wayne and shot by a film crew that boarded the ship in the Canary Islands.

1970-71 Oceanics Film
1970-71 – Film footage shot by students Lance and Jay Wright, who were with Oceanics the entire trip, starting in Maine at Hurricane Island Outward Bound for orientation. Then it was to Bergen to board the Statsraad Lehmkuhl. They sailed to Hamburg, Lisbon, the Azores, the Canary Islands and Senegal, Africa before returning to Bergen.
